গত পাঁচ বছর যাবত স্থানীয় এক তরুন ও তার দল নিজ উদ্যেগে এবং নিজ খরচে সুবিধসবঞ্চিত মানুষদের আবহাওয়া এবং জলবায়ু তথ্য সরবরাহ সেবা দিয়ে আসছে। এর ফলে একপাশে যেমন এলাকাবাসী উপকৃত হচ্ছে, তেমনি উপজেলার অন্যান্য স্বেচ্ছাসেবী সংগঠন এই কাজে এগিয়ে এসেছে এবং একধরনের গনজোয়ার সৃষ্ঠি হয়েছে। তবে বিজ্ঞানের সুফল পেতে হলে একে আরো আধুনিক করতে হবে যার বাস্তবায়নে মেধা, শিক্ষা ও যোগ্যতা থাকলেও অর্থের অভাবে তা সম্ভব হয়নি। কাকতাড়ুয়ার সেবা প্রসারিত করতে এবং প্রত্যন্ত অঞ্চলের কৃষকদের মাঝে পৌছিয়ে দিতে আপনাদের সহযোগিতা ও সমর্থনের প্রয়োজন।আপনার দান আমাদের নিম্নলিখিত কাজগুলি করতে সাহায্য করবে: আমাদের আবহাওয়া এবং জলবায়ু তথ্য সেবাগুলি উন্নয়ন করতে নতুন প্রযুক্তি এবং সরঞ্জাম উন্নয়ন করা। আরও দূরবর্তী এলাকাগুলিতে আরও অধিক লোকের কাছে পৌঁছানোর জন্য স্বেচ্ছাসবীদের প্রশিক্ষণ দান। আমাদের সেবা বিস্তার ক’রে আরও অধিক অঞ্চল এবং জনগনের মাঝে পৌছিয়ে দেয়া। আবহাওয়া ও জলবায়ু সংক্রান্ত জাতীয় ও আন্তর্জাতিক সংগঠনসমূহের সাথে যোগাযোগের মাধ্যমে নিজেদের সুসংহত করা।
